CLASSES FOR EVERY AGE & STAGE

TOODLERS

Creative Combo

AGES 2½ -3     ðŸ•œ 45 min

Basic introduction to Tap, Ballet, Jazz & Acro. We use a lot of holiday/seasonal songs throughout the year. Students should be 2½ -3 yrs old by the start of classes in Sept & preferably potty-trained.


Combo Class

AGES 4 & up     ðŸ•œ 1 – 1 ½ hr

Pre-K through Advanced levels
We start w/ the basics of Tap/Ballet/Jazz in the lower levels & build on those skills as the students move up. Higher level combo classes are only Tap & Jazz and Ballet is a separate class. Combo classes perform two routines in our dance productions: 1 Tap & 1 either Ballet/Lyrical or Jazz.


Ballet & Contemporary Basics

AGES 7 & up     ðŸ•œ 1 hr

Disciplined class consisting of barre/center work to provide a strong technical foundation and for learning body placement & control. Choreography will be more lyrical or contemporary style.
*Required for competition students age 7 & up.


Hip Hop

AGES 6 & up     ðŸ•œ ½ hr

More of a “street style” of dance. Age 6 & up.


Acrobatics

AGES 5 & up     ðŸ•œ 45 min

Stretching, strength work & gymnastic movement: rolls, cartwheels, backbends, etc. Great class to improve flexibility & master tricks that can be incorporated into routines. Instructors will help students work at their own pace.
*
½ hr more advanced Acro class offered following Conditioning class if enough students are interested.


Advance Ballet

Strictly classical barre, center & choreography.

*Pointe - ½ hr Pointe class offered on same night if enough students are interested.


Contemporary

AGES 12 & up     ðŸ•œ 45 min

Advanced level class consisting of warm-up/stretch, center and across the floor technique work, and learning contemporary choreography with focus on expressive movement and emotion.  Dancers must have AT LEAST two years of ballet (one on a non-recital year) and be at least 12 in order to be accepted into contemporary class.


Conditioning & Technique

|     ðŸ•œ 1 hr

Stretching, strength work & technique for jumps turns, etc.

*Required for competition students.
